Anjali Khurana is an actor, dancer, and voice artist. She has trained in some of India’s oldest theatrical forms, along with Method, Meisner, and on-camera acting and varied movement training, including Alexander and Feldenkrais, across NYC, Boston, L.A. and Mumbai.
Dancing since childhood, Anjali has learned hip-hop, Bhangra, modern, and Indian Classical forms of Bharat Natyam and Kuchipudi. She started a South Asian fusion dance company in Boston prior to pursuing free-lance choreography in India.
Theatre holds a special place in Anjali’s heart, having performed in several plays and improv comedy shows. She has done over 70 commercials, several short films, feature films, and web/TV shows, including Amazon’s first original TV show to launch in India.
Anjali’s voiceover career spans hundreds of commercial, film, and corporate projects, including serving as main Channel Voice for Disney International, India.
She actively combines her passion for the arts with community organizing/social awareness. In 2012, she orchestrated a nationwide dance flash mob simultaneously across 20 U.S. cities to encourage youth to vote. In 2017, she attended a prestigious artist residency curated by the US Consulate in Mumbai to promote artistic collaborations towards women’s empowerment. Anjali has performed her spoken word and choreography at international women’s day events and to promote awareness on domestic violence and mental health issues. She believes strongly in using the Arts to advance social causes and bring together communities
